AMP is a plane parts supplier, aggregating plane parts offerings from a variety of suppliers. They needed to develop of a back office tool aimed at automating their real-time, multiple sources pricing process, which at the time involved AMP workers with a heavily manual process, using at least 5 different platforms and tools.
The tool is offered as a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution, focusing on streamlining workflow and enhancing efficiency for businesses.

As a UX designer, my primary responsibility I worked heavily on establishing seamless communication with the client, ensuring a clear and comprehensive understanding of their business requirements.
The current system users were using a variety of unrelated, unintegrated tools to get their job done (Excel, internal chat, online database querying, mail).
As a UX designer, my primary responsibility I worked heavily on establishing seamless communication with the client, ensuring a clear and comprehensive understanding of their business requirements.
The current system users were using a variety of unrelated, unintegrated tools to get their job done (Excel, internal chat, online database querying, mail).
We needed to transform these chaotic workflow into effective design concepts, that would eventually not only automate the process but also allow for further efficiency gains that were impossible with the current manual workflow (like incorporating automate machine learning recommendations to the pricing process).

I planned and conducted several User Interviews with procurement managers, pricing analysts, and other stakeholders to understand pain points, existing workflows, and requirements. Gather insights and prioritize key features for the tool.
During the Design Phase we created a clear and intuitive Information Architecture that defined the tool's structure and navigation. We categorized features based on user needs, such as requisition submission, pricing rules configuration, and analytics.

We built a Style Guide and Design System components for a solid foundation. Following Material Design best practices for table creation we developed a visually appealing and user-friendly design that aligns with the client's branding. Ensured that the interface is consistent and conducive to efficient task completion improving the user experience and the reducing the cognitive load.
